Two weekends in September were taken up with our Club Championships – with over 100 swimmers taking part – and 621 PBs being achieved! Then swimmers were involved in the first round of the Arena League in the Premier division – those representing the club did us proud – managing to come 5th in that round, against some tough opposition.
Mid-October it was time for the Flitwick Open Meet – another huge success, giving our members an opportunity to compete against swimmers from across the region and beyond – and another 323 PBs achieved! The half-term break saw 31 of our swimmers go off to Torremolinos for our biennial swim camp – so now looking forward to achieving more PBs as some of them look to the Regionals and Nationals in the coming weeks.
