What a fantastic way to round off the season with over 80 Flitwick Dolphin swimmers enjoying our end-of-season event at Box End Aqua Park!
The celebrations came after an incredible summer of racing, with our swimmers achieving outstanding results at the East Region Open Water Championships, bringing home an impressive collection of Regional and County medals across the 1K, 2K, 3K and 5K events.
Special mentions to: ⭐ Thomas Allen – Multiple Regional & County Golds, plus 2 Golds and a Bronze at the British Masters Nationals, setting a new Bedfordshire 1500m record. ⭐ Jaye Western – Regional Gold, Masters National Silver, and a new Bedfordshire 400m Freestyle record. ⭐ Yasmine Ollerenshaw – County Golds and a National Qualification in the 5K event. ⭐ Lochlan Shaw – Scottish National Bronze medallist in the 1500m Freestyle. ⭐ Sophie Andrews – 5th place in the Scottish Nationals 100m Butterfly Final.
